How to Change and Carry Weapons

Change equipment safely, use the Seikret weapon slot, and decide when a second weapon solves a real problem.

Short answer: Change your main equipment at the supported equipment menu, and use the Seikret-carried second weapon for field flexibility when the current hunt permits it.

Changing the main weapon

Use the equipment-management options available at camp or the relevant hub. Save matching armor, item, radial, and ammunition choices together when the weapon changes the whole loadout.

Carrying a second weapon

A Seikret-carried secondary can change range, damage type, element, or familiarity without abandoning the hunt. It is optional, not a required rotation.

Swap for a reason

Create distance and identify the problem before switching.

  • Range or elevation is denying contact.
  • A material goal needs another damage type.
  • The secondary has a better matchup plan.
  • The main weapon needs a deliberate reset.

Avoid loadout errors

After every weapon change, verify armor skills, items, coatings or ammo, and radial shortcuts. The weapon icon alone does not prove the set is ready.
