Check that the quest permits participation, online access is working, and privacy or crossplay settings match the group you want to reach.
After the flare
Do not stand still waiting. Continue with safe play, preserve carts, and keep the quest state understandable for arriving hunters.
When joining an SOS
Restock before entry, inspect the objective, and arrive prepared to help rather than test an unfinished loadout.
- Confirm capture versus slay.
- Bring your own recovery items.
- Avoid turning the monster unpredictably.
If nobody joins
Availability varies by quest, region, settings, and current player population. Recheck restrictions and connection status, but be prepared to continue solo.
